Celebrating National Pharmacist Day
Samantha Pennington, Community Care RX
In honor of National Pharmacist Day, the staff at Community Care Rx in Malvern are being recognized for the work they do especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Community Care Rx is often known for being the pharmacy with a great big heart.
Samantha Pennington, a pharmacist at the business has exemplified that nickname through her presence with a delightful spirit to help care for their patients and customers with a big heart.
She has been an unsung hero during the time and through her efforts to assist the community while the spread of COVID-19 has had an enormous impact worldwide.
National Pharmacist Day on January 12 annually recognizes and honors all pharmacists across the nation.
Pennington fulfills her role productively by advising patients and health care providers on the selection, dosages, interactions and the side effects of prescriptions.
Pharmacists are very important and their role includes being a learned intermediary between a prescriber and a patient. Monitoring the health and progress of patients, pharmacists can then ensure the safe and effective use
of medication.
Pennington provides a heartfelt personality that brightens the atmosphere at Community Care Rx with her colleagues and their customers, patients they serve in the community.
Shelyn Davis, pharmacy manager/pharmacist deeply values Pennington since working at Community Care Rx.
While Community Care Rx Pharmacy is helping hundreds with the COVID-19 vaccinations, its befitting to recognize
dedicated medical professionals such as pharmacists like Pennington to help serve others and with a caring and respectful way.
The pharmacy is known for its family-oriented atmosphere and Pennington helps impact the environment by her work ethnic and personality.
Davis has mentioned, the pharmacy is dedicated to taking care of all patients and all of their needs.
Community Care Rx Pharmacy has served in the Malvern
community since December 2018. The new building and location is a historic experience for the pharmacy and is located at 1402 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd.
National Pharmacist Day also recognizes anyone who has required the services of a pharmacist. The day is used to show appreciation to pharmacists and thank them for the sacrifices they make and extended time devoted to help the wellbeing of health related conditions.
