The Hot Spring County Leadership Forum is currently accepting applications for the Mac Glover Servant Leader Scholarship.

The $500 scholarship is open to high school seniors who reside in

Hot Spring County or attend a Hot Spring County school.

The scholarship can be used toward any accredited post high school education.

To apply for the scholarship, students should complete the form and return it to the Malvern/ Hot Spring County Chamber of Commerce no later than Feb. 1, 2021.

To be considered for the scholarship, students must include a completed application which requires a resume of servant leadership, an essay and a letter of recommendation.

The application is available on the Malvern/ Hot Spring County Chamber of Commerce website.

The mission of the HSC Leadership Forum is to provide leadership training; informative community introductions, tours, and engaging interactions; professional networking and opportunities for service learning. The forum is open to all segments of our communities within Hot Spring County.

The forum is designed to actively engage participants to learn more about themselves and about the qualities of good leadership. This is an hands-on course that will provide tremendous opportunities for highly motivated individuals who seek to:

•Enhance their professional leadership skills

•Increase their network of community relationships

•Obtain a better understanding of local issues and organizations that comprise the region

•Learn skills to better prepare them for political leadership positions in the county

•Discover the benefits of service learning for them and their organization

In 2020, because of safety concerns the forum was hosted virtually and videos were posted on the forum’s Facebook page.
