Kicking off the spring semester
Ing
The district hopes everyone has had a good start to the new year and enjoyed the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend! We are looking forward to a great spring semester with our students! Below you will find a few celebrations the district has had recently with our students and district activities!
The December and January “Students of the Month” were recognized virtually at our regular monthly board meetings these past two months. Unfortunately, we are unable to take a group picture with our students as we normally do. However, a video was released via social media to the public so our students could be recognized. Each of these students received a certificate of appreciation, a $25 gift card to Walmart, and a Malvern Leopard gift bag (sponsored by the Malvern Leopard Foundation). Congratulations to the following students! December is listed first.

The district would like to say a special thank you to Community Care Pharmacy and the Baptist Medical Center for assisting in the process of vaccines for our staff members! We are hoping to have all of our staff members inoculated over the next few weeks. The district appreciates all the hard work and planning of these providers!
The district recently received a new delivery of portable computer devices last week. This delivery gets our district to a one-to-one level with our students, and it also replaces some of our older devices. This is an awesome milestone for our district to meet! We are proud to be in this position especially during this virtual climate change in education. We will continue to use our resources to make technology a huge priority for our students!
January is School Board Appreciation Month. If you see a school board member or have a chance to visit with one, please take a moment to do so and thank them for all they do for the district. We are very fortunate to have dedicated individuals who support the students, staff, and the community of the Malvern School District as they do! Our members include: Jesse Clark, Steve Williams, Travis Worthington, Connie Bane, Deborah Smith, Don Rash, and Melanie Rock. Thank you to each of them for their service to the district and its students!
As always, thank you for your continued support of our schools!
