Shanon Hull
Shanon Hull, age 52, of Poyen passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 after complications from brain cancer. He was born May 13, 1968, in Malvern, the son of John Henry and Lavena Ersel Roark Hull. He was a Clinical Informatics EDM Maintainer RN at CHRISTUS ST. Michael in Texarkana. He served in the United States Army, where he was a medic during Iraqi Freedom and Iraqi Enduring Freedom. Shanon enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working and spending time with his grandkids. He is preceded in death by his father, John Henry Hull and brother, Michael Jon Hull.
Survivors, mother, Ersel Hull McDaniel of Poyen; wife, Margaret Mary Browne Hull of Texarkana, Arkansas; sons, Dustin Hull of Oklahoma and Matthew Hull of Salem; daughter, Jennifer Whiteside of Texarkana, Texas; brothers, David Hull (Cathy) of Poyen, Mark Hull of Poyen and Eric Hull of North Little Rock; sister, Johna Kratz (Freddie) of Poyen; grandchildren, Kenzi, Thatcher, Brantley and Grant and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 24 at 3:30pm at Poyen Assembly of God with Reverend Jason Keisler and Reverend Michael Sullivan officiating. Visitation will begin thirty minutes prior to service. Burial will be at LindseyPoyen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews and J.M. Rowe.
