Local business owners hosting shopping program
Once again the Small Business Saturday, Shop Small—Shop Malvern Passport program is back for another project in the month of February to spread some love in downtown Malvern.
The Historic Downtown District Merchants are excited to share their “Spread the Love on Main Street” Passport Program.
The event is Feb. 13 beginning at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
This program has been a helpful way to draw attention and open the spotlight for the community to visit all of the unique businesses in downtown Malvern. Also it is a way to connect the community and businesses downtown to build a close and productive relationship, local business owners said.
The merchants have decided to bring back the Passport Program because it was such a huge success and fun during the holiday season in December 2020.
The merchants have put together another prize package worth more than $375 in gifts and gift certificates for one lucky winner to help that
person Spread the Love on Valentine’s Day.
It is noted by the merchants, "You can pick up a passport from one of the Main St businesses, collect their signatures for each box and leave it at your last store to enter."
For a chance to win, the
public must visit every business to be eligible and qualify to win the grand prize. Participants must be 15 years of age or older and there is one passport per participant.
Businesses participating consist of—Arkansas Yarn Co., Country Garden Florist, Cute Affordable Fashion,
Brown’s Furniture, 3Bee’s Consignment, Retagit Consignment, The Picket Fence, Big Catch Sporting Goods and Bling Diva’s Boutique.
The merchants hope to be able to host this event throughout the year as a downtown business tradition in Malvern.
