Kenneth Dean Morrison, age 71, of Brown Springs AR passed away at his home on February 13, 2021. He was born December 9, 1949 in Friendship, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents Clayton and Aldena Morrison, brothers Dayton Morrison and James Howard Morrison, and sisters Bonnie Wells and Sue Wells. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Delaine Gray Morrison, daughters Kendee ( Mike) Schultz of Glen Rose, Sarah ( Joshua) Roe of Elkins, and son Clay Morrison of Brown Springs. Grandchild­ren Christa Morrison, Bryce Hill, Brenden Hill,, Caden Morrison, Sydney Roe, Casey ( Courtney) Schultz, and great grandchild­ren Paislee, Huck, and Marley Schultz. Brothers Roy ( Bonnie) Morrison, Paul ( Wilma) Morrison, Junior ( Brenda) Morrison, Donald ( Marilyn) Morrison, and Bob Morrison. Sisters Estalene Thomason, Geneva Morrison, Patsy ( Randall) Tarkington and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a faithful member of Anchor Baptist Church in Brown Springs and a member of the Rockport Masonic Lodge # 58. He was employed at Reynolds Metal Company at Gum Springs for 16 years and was a pot room supervisor. He retired from Stihl Southwest after 20 years as the Technical Service Manager. He loved his children and grandchild­ren very deeply and they were his whole world. He could always be found working outside or in his shop on a tractor or a motor of some sort. He enjoyed restoring antique tractors and taking them and his Hit & Miss motors to shows and was a member of Tractors of the Past. During his retirement years, he enjoyed cross country RV trips with his wife and their best friends Wendell & Etta Lea Gray. He was a straight forward man and you always knew where he stood, but he was extremely kind, generous, and helpful to all. He never met a stranger and was a friend to many.

Pallbearer­s will be Kevin Beckwith, Richard Gray, Curtis Gray, Jeremy Morrison, Charles Abernathy, and Buddy Babb. Honorary Pallbearer­s are J. R. Pasley, Ronnie Purifoy, Dr. Shawn Purifoy, Joe Cornelius, Vernie Meador, John Abernathy, Tim Wells, and the members of The Tractors of the Past.

A memorial service will be held Monday, February 22, 2021 at 2: 00 PM at Second Baptist Church in Malvern with Brother Caleb Lewis and Brother Joey McDermott officiatin­g. Visitation will be at 1: 00 PM. Burial will follow at Ouachita Cemetery in Donaldson.
