HSC Courthouse employee recognized during farewell celebration
Friday was a farewell occasion that presented love, joy and appreciation to a dedicated individual of Nicole Simmons, who had an impact on the Hot Spring County Courthouse while fulfilling duties as a standout security guard.
Simmons took her duties very seriously as a professional while making sure the public followed all COVID- 19 safety guidelines and protocol before entering the courthouse. Unfortunately, Simmons will no longer be securing the courthouse as she starts a new career journey in the HSC Jail facility.
Simmons was so overwhelmed by the appreciation she received from the elected officials and employees at the courthouse on her final day to work Friday.
She mentioned how much everyone at the courthouse was a joy to be around and that it was a nice and positive atmosphere. She emphasized while being a security guard at the courthouse opened up the door to enhance an even greater opportunity for her life in the working industry. She believes her work at the courthouse was a great time in her life and now she feels
blessed to explore this productive opportunity to work at the county jail.
HSC Judge Dennis Thornton spoke very highly of Simmons and appreciated her commitment and faithful dedication she served for the courthouse during her tenure as a memorable security guard.
Simmons received several cards and gifts from the other employees at courthouse on her final day Friday.
Although Simmons has taken another path of her career, she'll always be well known for the productive job she performed at the courthouse.
Now, Simmons has gained an extended family of everyone at the courthouse and has exemplified how devoted a person should take responsibility for their duties in the workplace.
Friday was a farewell celebration to honor Simmons and her support base at the courthouse wished her well in her new adventure.
