In Stephen’s words: When I was 35 years old I was in a terrible car accident and spent a year and half in bed, with many Doctors caring for me.
A large number of the Doctors told me that I would be in a wheelchair permanently within 2 years.
I began reading a Bible and came to understand, and believe, that Jesus Christ is the risen Son of God, so I said it, and was saved because I truly believed (and still do) that Christ is the risen Son of God.
About one minute after being saved, I felt something pour down over my head and received a supernatural healing from God. I then spent years in Bible studies and Bible Colleges.
I was surprised when a Bible College taught that God stopped performing healing miracles, because I was the recipient of such a healing miracle. They had taught that healing, miracles, and tongues faded into oblivion at the death of the early Apostles. Nothing could be farther from the truth, I know from personal experience!
All I can say in this short article is that if you need a healing, God can do it, if you believe that He can. It would be very easy for me to present tons of Scriptures dealing with proving that God heals people today, but healing requires YOUR faith. Often, when Christ would heal some individual, He would accompany the healing with the words “Your faith has made you whole”. Your faith... believing God, matters.
Friends, It has been 29 years since I received my supernatural healing. The word ‘supernatural’ just means that God is superior to the natural things that He created, therefore, God is superior to the natural.
Believe God more fully and He will step into the midst of your faith, and can at any moment perform a supernatural healing or miracle for you in your life.
