Sandra “Sandy” Walker Webb left this world on December 5, 2021 at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs surrounded by her family. Sandy was born on April 8, 1946, in Malvern, to Benton and Jestene Walker. She attended school at Poyen. Sandy was a faithful member of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church. She and Wesley raised their children in church and taught them love for others and God.

Sandy and Wesley started dating when she was 14 years old and married on December 21, 1963 at the age of 17. Together they raised two children along with cows, turkeys, pigs, dogs and any number of other critters. Sandy could do just about anything- she drove the school bus for Poyen School District while her children were in school. She went to beauty school and got her license and opened a shop in Poyen, where she did hair for many years. Sandy could drive anything from school buses, tractors and dump trucks. She worked alongside Wesley in the hay fields, raking hay. She worked cows and opened the gates for Wesley to feed everyday rain or shine. She helped clean deer, hogs, squirrel, turkey or whatever else Wesley brought in. Together they hauled pulp wood, cleared land, put in septic tanks and farmed, all the while making a home for her children. She loved Stephanie and Steve with all her heart and went above and beyond to be a good mother. That love only grew as her children started their families. She was never happier than when her grandchildren and great grandchildren came to visit. She will be missed.

Sandy is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Webb and her parents, Benton and Jestene Walker.

She is survived by her children, David and Stephanie Vann and Steve and Tina Webb. Her grandchildren, Amber Holyfield, Ashley Webb ( Shawn), Kacee Gill ( Sam), Katelyn Webb, Chizum Webb ( Brandy), Hunter Welch, Colton Welch ( Taylor) and Loren Webb; great grandchildren, Nathan and Alexandrea Webb, Hadlee and Weslee Gill, Dayzah and Kamare Smith, Payton and Colin Welch, Ava and Hope Webb. She leaves behind her sister, Peggy Sjogren ( Tory) of Greenbrier; nieces, Page House and Jill Stone; treasured friends Wayne and Nina Morehead, Newman and Stella Crenshaw and many, many others.
