Will Rogers Burley died peacefully at his home on November 19, 2021, at the age of 87, surrounded by loved ones. Will was born December 7, 1933 in Clarksvill­e, AR to Thomas Douglas and Dovie Elkins Burley. Will Burley joined the United States Air Force on June 4, 1951 and served during the Korean War, where he was awarded the Korean Service Medal, United National Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged on December 10, 1958. Will was retired from Acme Brick.

He loved his neighbors and was often seen sweeping their sidewalks, washing their trash cans and putting them back up after the trash was picked up every Tuesday morning. He loved watching the children play and was always offering a helping hand. He will truly be missed by his neighbors, whom he loved dearly.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Ware Burley of Malvern and brother, Donald Osburn Burley of Perla.

Will is survived by his bonus family, Belinda Christophe­r of Malvern, Rachel Christophe­r of Hot Springs and Carson Christophe­r of Hot Springs.

A celebratio­n of life service will be held on Wednesday, December 15 at 1:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Nate Palmer officiatin­g. He will be laid to rest at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery located in North Little Rock, there will be no graveside services. We welcome all Veterans of Foreign Wars, first responders and all military along with those that knew Mr. Burley to come celebrate his life with us. His family and close friends all preceded him in his death.
