Lions victorious, fly CMS Eagles back home in defeat 15-0 Lady Lions top Lady Dragons 8-3 in conference competitio­n

BISMARCK — It was an exciting showcase on the diamond for the proud Lion and Lady Lion fans Tuesday as Bismarck roared victorious in baseball and softball competitio­n. The Lions shut out their visiting Cutter Morning Star Eagles and flew them back home in a tough defeat. The Lady Lions also topped their opponent to take out the Genoa Central Lady Dragons 8-3 to produce a thrilling outing in Bismarck.

In baseball competitio­n, the Lions finished a three inning contest to post in double-digits to score 15 runs and hammer 12 hits in the batter’s box—going errorless. Barrett Schultz led at the plate with three hits, Braden Efird and Caleb Schultz each collected two hits, while Ian Smith (double), Ben Keithley, Lucas Chapman, Aidan
