Monica Sanders

Monica Lynn Turbyfill Sanders, 64, of Lathrop, Missouri, passed away on April 23, 2022, at her home from cancer.

Monica was born on March 30, 1958, in El Paso, Texas. As a Baptist, Monica’s first priority was ensuring her family was happy and taken care of and would lend a hand to anyone in need. Monica loved to be outside in the sunshine by the water soaking up the rays and pointing out all the different shapes the clouds made. She absolutely loved having friends and unexpected visitors stop by to visit. She enjoyed collecting lighthouse figurines and placing them all over the house. She had a love for her grandkids like no other and she enjoyed bouncing them on her knee every chance she got. Her favorite thing to do was dancing and attending any type of live music event.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph T. Turbyfill, Hot Springs, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband, Benoit J.L. Sanders, of Lathrop, Missouri; sons, Shane Q. Sanders, of Kearney, Missouri, and Joshua D. Sanders, of Dallas, Texas; mother, Vivian L. Townley Turbyfill, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; brothers, Ronald E. Turbyfill, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Farrel A. Turbyfill, of Benton, Arkansas, Troy D. Turbyfill, of Benton, Arkansas, and Darwin J. Turbyfill, of Vilonia, Arkansas; she is also survived by five grandchildren, of which were her true joy of life, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
