Interview With God
Suppose we could interview God, and ask him questions. According to His printed Word, the Bible, one interview might go like this...
Vern: “Yehohwah Father God, why are so many people doing horrible things without you doing anything to stop them?”
God: “You should be shouting, ‘Halleluia! Thank you for the signs of the times!’ “Vern: “What do you mean?”
God: “You’ve read in my Word about the signs that signal my Son’s return from Heaven to earth. And you’ve read what Apostle Paul prophesied about those days.”
Vern: “Yes, sir. Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 predict famines, pestilent diseases, earthquakes, wars, and the like. And 2 Timothy 3 speaks of perilous times, and about wicked men who despise God, Christ, and Christian values.”
God: “I am the Potter. The wealthiest and most powerful men among you are mere clay in my hands. Satan is enjoying himself right now, with all the turmoil, fear, and doubt that exists around him. The Devil is causing trouble, but only so far as I allow him. He’s not in control of the overall situation. I AM! And I always WILL
BE!”
Vern: “But aren’t men responsible for these troubles also? You’ve given us free will to make choices, even though some decisions we make are horrible mistakes.”
God: “Yes, but your free will has limitations. Satan has limits, too! The Prince of this World doesn’t realize that the turmoil he’s provoking is expediting Yeshua Jesus Christ’s return to earth, because that brings Satan’s end. Jesus is coming anyway! Like you, Satan is subject to my plans and my Word!”
God: “People who want me to put a stop to the evil that’s going on right now need to know that these things are prophesied in my Word, they’re under my control, and they will get worse. I’m giving evil enough rope to hang itself. Then I will tighten the noose. I will pour out my Wrath upon my planet Earth. And when I’m through, all wickedness will have been put away.
This world will become as good, and as clean and spotless as my home in Heaven. All in good time. And time is in my hands, not Satan’s, and not man’s.” Vern: “Halleluia!” God: “Those who accept my Son, Yeshua Jesus Christ, and keep my Word have nothing to fear, but everything to gain. Eternal life is their reward: life in an immortal, incorruptible angelic body that will never hunger nor be injured nor sick. I will bring them into my Heavenly city, and I will live among them forever.”
God: “There is light, and there is darkness. There is no third choice in between. I prefer that all mankind would choose to walk in the light, but I force no one.
Those who reject the light choose to walk in darkness. Those who reject my Son also reject me.
They doubt me and follow Satan, believing his lies. He was a liar from the beginning, and is the father of lies and liars. They who choose the Devil’s path will go where that path leads them - to destruction.”
The interview was interrupted when a man wearing a bright white garment stepped into the room. His face shone bright as the noonday sun. It was Yeshua Jesus Christ.
Jesus: “These days you live in have been part of the plan since the beginning of time. Prophets foretold you of this. Amid the darkness, there is light. So rejoice, my people. I am coming soon!”
