Don’t miss Miss Brickfest

The 41st Annual Miss Brickfest Pageant will take place June 10- 11. The theme for the pageant this year is “Puttin’ on the Ritz” as a nod to the renovation taking place at the Historic Ritz Theatre in downtown Malvern and the glitz and glamor of pageantry that is finally returning to Brickfest.

The pageant is being brought back to coincide with the 2022 Malvern Brickfest celebration taking place June 24- 25.

The newly- crowned Miss Brickfest who wins on June 11 will be on hand at the Brickfest weekend event later that month to represent and commemorate the history of the pageant and the beloved annual event that took a hiatus the last couple of years during the COVID pandemic.

The pageant and crowning will happen June 11 at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center and is tentatively set to start around 2 p. m., but that time may change depending on the number of entrants.

The pageant is open to all Arkansas females between ages 3- 22, and winners will be crowned in multiple age divisions. Entry fees are $ 30, and a cash prize of $ 250 will be awarded to the winner.

Registration and a contestant meet- and- greet will be held at Arkansas State University Three Rivers June 5 at 2 p. m. The last day to enter is June 8.
