Godly Options

The U.S. Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade. Now it’s up to each state legislature to pass laws concerning the legality of abortion. In Arkansas, murdering babies simply for birth control purposes is illegal.

Pro-abortionists have disguised their actions with such terms as “women’s rights” or “pro-choice.” They now falsely claim that since abortion - “murder of babies” - is illegal, women’s “reproductive health” is in jeopardy.

Overturning Roe v. Wade does not fire gynecologists and doctors who treat women for medical conditions. But states banning abortion have greatly increased the health benefits for millions of babies in the womb who would have been murdered by their mothers.

Is murder the best answer for our problems? When a car we buy breaks down, should we murder the dealer who refuses to pay for repairs? When we are no longer happy in our marriage, rather than going through an exhaustive expensive divorce, should we murder our spouse to rid ourselves of that problem? When the politicians we vote for fail to keep their campaign promises, why wait until the next election to vote them out, when murdering them solves that problem so much faster?

When we discover that our sexual activity has produced a pregnancy, murdering that baby never was the answer according to God. “Thou shalt not kill” says the God who hates “hands that shed innocent blood” (Exodus 20:13; Proverbs 6:17).

The most godly solution to that situation, of course, is to only have sex with your spouse that you are legally married to. Then if you don’t want to keep the babies you produce, adopt them out to relatives, or through adoption agencies. That option holds true for anyone unable or unwilling to raise their babies.

“Marry the girl” is one option. “Baby murdering” (abortion) is not. Pre-sex planning: birth control devices, pills, injections, or implants. Some injections are effective for months, implants for years! Because responsible adults are accountable for their actions.

If every U.S. state passes laws against abortion like Arkansas has done, then we will have taken one step towards removing some of the curses that we face in this nation due to our sinful disobedience to God’s laws. May God bless those states who obey him!

Every American, even agnostics, should read Deuteronomy 28:15-24 in the Bible.

“It shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: Cursed shalt thou be ...until thou be destroyed” (Deuteronomy 28:15-24).

That our actions are held accountable by a “higher power” is more than just a remote possibility: it’s an absolute fact. A majority of our Supreme Court justices have come to that understanding. Our President and Congress are answerable for making godly decisions which will not cause our destruction.

We Christians thank God for inspiring this decision of our Supreme Court justices. We ask God to so inspire our legislatures about this and other issues.

In the name of Yeshua Jesus Christ, we ask God to forgive us for the murder of millions of babies in our nation.

We ask for God to strengthen and guide those couples who find themselves dealing with unplanned pregnancy. If abortion is illegal and against God’s will, what do they do?
