Saturday, February 4th Take Your Child to the Library Day
9 am to 1 pm Stop by the library for a special children’s book themed mini golf course. This is open to all ages. Each child that visits the library will receive a free book. Please enjoy a day of fun with us!

Join Ms. Amy for stories, crafts and fun! Story Hour is designed for 2 years old to Prek.
Thursday, February 9th Teen Craft – Self Care Jar
4:30 pm
Show yourself some love by decorating a jar to be filled with self-care ideas. Registration opens January 26th. Oral Health Care 5:30 pm Dr. Leah Efird will help us

Computer Basics 2 pm We will offer classes in computer basics. Registration online or give us a call. This class is open to individuals 18 and up.
Bismarck Library Card Sign Up 3:30 pm to 5 pm
We will be at Bismarck Deli and Market to assist our Bismarck patrons with signing up for a library card. If you applied for a card online, you can stop by and pick up your card. Please be sure to bring a photo ID and a second item with your name and address printed on it.

Homeschool Valentine’s Day Party 2:00 pm
Bring a snack to share and valentine day card to exchange. We will provide boxes to decorate to hold your cards.
Thursday, February 16th
Kid’s Painting Class 4:30pm We will use a combined media method to make a unique painting. Registration will open on Thursday, February 2nd.

We will meet at the library at 9 am to depart for Little Rock. We will tour the Arkansas State Capital building and meet some of our local representatives. Please bring a dessert to share with our legislators. Lunch will be provided. Register online or give us a call.

We will be painting a “Firefly Forest” this month. Registration opens February 9th.

Join us at Fisherman’s Grill and Pizza Shack for a chance to “taste” some new books. You will be able to receive a library card and check out the books that you taste at this time. Bring a photo ID and a second item with your name and address printed on it.

Annual Friends of the Library Meeting 5:30 pm
The Friends of the Library will have their annual business meeting members are encouraged to attend. Memberships are available at the circulation desk or at the meeting.
Tuesday, February 28th Blind Date with a Book
Select books will be marked with the genre and brief description. Check out a book and let us know if you would ghost it, agree to a second date or accept a marriage proposal. Add your name and phone number to your rating to be entered in a prize basket drawing.
Winter Reading Challenge
Our next reading challenge runs through February 28th. Stop by the circulation desk to pick up your Bookopoly reading log. Follow the prompts on the game card. For each set of properties that you complete, you will receive on entry in our prize package drawing.
