Obituaries Cheryl Ann Chenault Mccarver
Cheryl Ann Chenault Mccarver made her screaming appearance into the world on January 7, 1970 to parents Donald W. and Elizabeth A. Chenault. She married the love of her life on December 29, 1989. She transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from complications of kidney dialysis surrounded by the love of her family.
Cheryl is survived by her best friend and husband, Tim Mccarver; her sons, Jordan ( Skii) and Jared ( Grace); her siblings, Terri Verrette, Kerrie Hughes, and David Chenault. She was “Granny” to two beautiful granddaughters, Claire Elizabeth ( Bean) and Finleyjane Dawn. Additionally, there are many in- laws, out- laws, nieces, nephews, and assorted adopted children and grandchildren too numerous to mention.
Cheryl loved her family, as evidenced by the many reminders around her home and the funny stories that are familiar to those who know her best.
She is the only person we know who has caught not one, but two fish by casting the line over the limb of a tree. She loved snow, Christmas, decorating, scrapbooking, and performing small acts of kindness for others, without any fanfare or acknowledgement.
As someone who loved to sing, she could be heard over the noise of the lawnmower to the delight of her community who enjoyed the impromptu concerts.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18 from 6- 8 pm at Regency Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 2: 30 pm on Sunday, February 19 at Third Baptist Church of Malvern, with Brother Tom Strike and Brother Harley Petty officiating. Graveside service will follow at Lono Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jordan Mccarver, Jared Mccarver, Michael Verrette, Tucker Verrette, Jace Green, Josh Inglis, Cory Simpson, CJ Wilson, and Daniel Simpson. Honorary pallbearers include David Chenault, Justin Hughes, Jeff Mcdermott, Kevin Abbott, and all the kids whom she helped to raise.
