Clinton Wesley Parker
Clinton Wesley Parker, age 63, passed away February 4, 2023, at his home in Cane Hill, Arkansas. He was born Nov. 19, 1959 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, the son of John Ray and Myrna ( Givens) Parker.
Clinton was preceded in death by his father and step- father, Emmett Gene Mccormack. Survivors, who will hold him in their hearts forever include his wife of 42 years, Lori Ann Parker; his mother, Myrna Mccormack of Malvern, AR; his three sons, Trent ( Nicole) Parker of Fayetteville, AR, Forrest ( Lindsey) Parker of Pea Ridge, AR, and Terrence
Parker of Austin, TX: two brothers, Gregory ( Anita) Parker and Tracy ( Kari) Parker, all of Malvern, AR; one sister, Rhonda ( Paul) Betzner of Biscoe, AR; two step- sisters, Debbie Gregory and Donna
( Frank) Cerros, all of Conroe, TX; Clinton was blessed with two granddaughters, Shelby and Taylor Parker of Fayetteville as well as numerous bonus grandchildren and one great grandchild. Clinton had a very special relationship with his five nieces and nephews who in return treasured their Uncle Clint. Clinton is also survived by four foster children whose lives were touched by his love.
Clinton was a graduate of Malvern High School. He joined the Navy and was assigned to the aircraft carrier, Eisenhower, where he served as an electronics technician later becoming an electronics instructor at Millington, TN, Navel Base. After leaving the Navy, and always loving a challenge, he had a fulfilling career in the field of robotics.
Clinton loved the outdoors and spent endless hours canoeing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, camping and traveling. His love for animals as well as all wildlife was only exceeded by his love for his family and spending time with them making innumerable memories along the way in his totally unique manner. His natural curiosity caused him to love to explore and he could always find something to take home to collect.
To know him was to love him, and we all love him dearly.
Celebration of his life was held Feb. 19, 2023, at the American Legion Post 27, Fayetteville, AR. Memorials may be directed to your favorite animal wildlife rescue or charity of your choice.
