Catherine Taylor, 92, of Magnet Cove passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. She was born January 10, 1931, in England, Arkansas the daughter of the late Clyde and Mattie Florence Allison Murphree. Catherine was a member of Hot Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, reading and was very organized. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Max Glenn Taylor; sisters, Joann Davis, Levon Wood and Wanda Lindsey; brothers, James Murphree and Dennis Murphree and two half- brothers, Gerald Murphree and Virginius Murphree.

Survivors, husband of 73 years, Reverend Gerald Taylor of Magnet Cove; daughters, Sharon Taylor of Magnet Cove, Susan Ladd ( Neil) Sherwood and Karen Reynolds ( Tim) of Magnet Cove; brothers, Jeff Murphree ( Brenda) of Eldorado and Tom Murphree ( Pat) of Morrilton; grandchild­ren, Kelli Mckay, Michael Ladd ( Cherie), Caleb Reynolds ( Taylor), Nathan Reynolds, Jesse Taylor ( Laken) and Melody Taylor; great grandchild­ren, Kayla, Linden, Courtney, Tyler, Jonathan and Taylor; great- great grandchild­ren, Madison, Maddox, Logan, Ledger and Wyatt and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 12 from 5: 00- 7: 00pm at Hot Springs Baptist Church. Services will be Monday, March 13 at 10: 00am at Hot Springs Baptist Church with Brother Mike Smith and Brother Manley Beasley officiatin­g. Burial will be a Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander at

1: 00pm. Pallbearer­s will be Michael Ladd, Caleb Reynolds, Nathan Reynolds, Jesse Taylor, Tom Murphree and Jeff Murphree.

The family would like to give a special thanks for Comfort Care, Arkansas Hospice and all the nurses and staff at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs.
