Tour de Malvern Parade on Wheels

3H Ministries will be sponsoring its 1st annual Tour de Malvern Parade on Wheels, which will coincide with other community events that are scheduled for the weekend before the total solar eclipse on April 8.

Tour de Malvern will be held on Saturday, April 6th, at the HSC Courthouse square. Check-in starts at 10 am, parade line-up is at 10:45 am, and the parade begins at 11 am.

This is a family-friendly event, and all ages are invited to participate. The classes are: Newborn to age 4, Ages 5-10, Ages 11-15, Ages 16-59, and Ages 60 and above. Winners will be chosen from each class and one “Best in Show” will be awarded.

The theme for this year’s parade is Space Cowboys & Aliens. Participants are welcome to decorate anything on wheels that is non-motorized, with the exception of motorized wheelchairs. Children under the age of ten must have adult supervision.

“Roll into the eclipse with us Brick City style. Enter your best decorated wheels... bike, trike, unicycle, scooter, stroller, wagon, wheelbarrow, roller skates....or any non-motorized thing on wheels. The only exception is motorized wheelchairs,” as stated on the social media page created for the event.

This is a fundraiser for 3H Ministries and their outreach programs in the community including Men’s Weekend, Women’s Weekend, and Date Night: The Marriage Course.
