Malvern vs. Arkadelphia Alumni Basketball Game Fundraiser April 27 At The Leopard Center
The Alumni Rival Basketball Game—malvern vs. Arkadelphia is set to square off April 27 at the Leopard Center venue on the Malvern School District campus. Games tip-off at 1 p.m.
This is the first ever alumni basketball game that involves former alumni hoopsters of Arkadelphia and Malvern who graced the hardwood during their exciting era of showtime hoops.
Malvern Lady Leopard basketball senior high coach Sherry White anticipates this fundraiser event to highlight a fun and memorable occasion between two close rivalry towns bringing the competitive spirits to the hardwood once again.
White noted that this event is a huge community fundraiser hosted by the Malvern School District and they’re working together with Arkadelphia School District as well to organize a productive event.
Members of the Malvern Lady Leopard senior and junior high basketball teams will contribute their time to help work the event.
White also emphasizes the event will feature a variety of games and activities such as a dunk contest, with a half-court shot and 50/50 raffle tickets. Game divisions consist of graduation alumni in 2000 and older —Gold; 2001-2013—Silver; and 2014 to present—bronze.
Player fee is $10 and the admission charge is $5.
Player registration may use the google form and provide player position, number, school, where you are now, awards in high school and graduation year.
