2:01 p.m. Someone called to report vandalism on Hillside Drive and said a recently terminated employee had slashed the tires on a vehicle.

8:16 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Old Mammoth Road to take a report on a vehicle with a multiple broken windows.

September 12

5:57 a.m. Someone called to report a bear on Main Street and said a bear was destroying the inside a gray F150 in the back parking lot.

11:51 a.m. Someone called to report a suspicious person on Main Street and said a male subject approximat­ely 55 years old with salt and pepper colored hair was acting weird and harassing people.

7:12 p.m. Someone called to report harassment on Canyon Boulevard and said a man playing basketball outside had been harassing them and would not leave them alone.

September 13

12:13 a.m. Someone called to report a trespasser on Tavern Road and said a man wearing a baseball cap and sweatshirt was walking through a constructi­on site.

1:26 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Main Street to look into a report of an abandoned vehicle.

6:33 p.m. Someone called to report an animal issue on Sherwin Creek Road and said four off leash, lab mix dogs had attacked their dog. The reporting person said the owner of the off leash dogs walked away and did not assist. The reporting person was headed to the vet at the time of the call and stated they were injured in the attack as well.

9:34 p.m. Someone called to report a traffic collision on U.S. 395 north of Hot Creek Road and said they had hit a deer and their vehicle was not operationa­l.

September 14

9:13 a.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstan­ces on Lupin Street and said their friend had been involved in a bike accident the other day and the other party involved had left the scene. The reporting person said they knew the other party involved in the accident and would like to file a report.

6:33 p.m. Someone called to request medical aid on Sherwin Creek Road and said someone was having a seizure. The reporting person said they were inside a vehicle at the trailhead.

8:26 p.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstan­ces on Lake Mary Road and said they had received a text message stating someone had fired a flare into the air. The reporting person said they did not know if the Ranger Station had been notified.

September 15

3:53 a.m. Someone called to report a fire on Main Street and said they could see flames and smoke coming from a building that might have been the old brewery.

12:46 p.m. Someone called to request a welfare check on Mono Street and said they had not heard from their friend in a long time and would like officers to check on them.

7:37 p.m. Someone called to report an intoxicate­d person on Main Street and said a man wearing a gray t shirt, dark gray pants and had brown hair was drunk and refusing to leave.

9:02 p.m. Someone called to request assistance on Meridian Boulevard and said they were trying to get back to their condos but unable to see in the dark due to partial blindness.

September 16

1:45 a.m. Someone called to report a disturbanc­e on Main Street and said multiple people were fighting.

3:03 a.m. Someone called to report a noise complaint on Chaparral Road and said a group of four or five people were drinking near a red pickup and Subaru wagon and ‘blasting’ the car stereo.

1:50 p.m. Someone called to report an intoxicate­d person on Old Mammoth Road and said a drunk man was urinating in the parking lot near a white work truck.

2:49 p.m. Someone called to request medical aid on Chaparral Road and said they thought they might be having a heart attack. The reporting person said they had done cocaine and could feel their heart racing.

5:46 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Minaret Road to take a report from a hit and run witness.

8:03 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbanc­e on Lake Mary Road and said they had parked near a trail and had been informed by a group of people that they could not park there. The reporting person said the group of people threatened to do a citizen arrest if they did not move their vehicle.

September 17

1:50 a.m. Someone called to report a noise complaint on Sierra Manor Road and said a car was playing loud music in the parking lot.

8:09 a.m. Someone called to request assistance on Lake Mary Road and said they live in the area and a group of four people were illegally cutting down trees.

9:45 a.m. Someone called to request medical aid on Main Street and said a woman was outside screaming inside a white truck. The reporting person said the screaming woman appeared to be alone.

2:45 p.m. Someone called to report a reckless driver on Joaquin Road and said a man on a blue Yamaha motorcycle riding without a helmet nearly hit their wife and child. The reporting person said the man on the motorcycle was going ‘nearly 100mph.”

2:52 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Coldwater Creek Road to issue a parking citation.

3:40 p.m. Someone called to request assistance on Main Street and said they would like an officer present while they evict a hotel guest. The reporting person said the guest was flooding the room, goes outside extremely drunk and is exposing himself to other guests and employees.
