12:00 p.m. Someone called to report an animal issue on Old Mammoth Road and said they had found a dog in front of Vons and the number on the tag goes to a Mojave County animal shelter.

1:50 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Minaret Road to issue a parking citation.

4:37 p.m. Someone called to report a possible hazard on Old Mammoth Road and said a snow pole between the movie billboard and Carl’s Jr was knocked over and could be an impaling hazard.

5:10 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbanc­e on Tavern Road and said a subject in a bright neon uniform was yelling at the workers.

7:56 p.m. Someone called to report a fire on Chateau Road and said they were walking on the bike path near the library and witnessed a subject feeding an illegal fire.

September 19

12:07 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Silver Tip Lane to check on a hazard involving a tree.

2:40 p.m. Someone called to report an animal issue on Old Mammoth Road and said three dogs were running around inside Vons. Dispatch noted the caller was extremely aggressive over the phone and refused to provide additional details.

3:45 p.m. Someone called to report a reckless driver on Shady Rest Road and said a small to mid-sized SUV was speeding through the park and appeared to occupied by multiple teenaged boys.

September 20

12:13 p.m. citation.

3:32 p.m. Someone called to report a traffic collision on Old Mammoth Road and said they saw a car drive onto the sidewalk and it might have hit a business.

6:35 p.m. Someone called to report a theft on Old Mammoth Road and said a subject who had stolen beer a couple of weeks ago had returned and was attempting to leave the store without paying again.

7:48 p.m. Someone called to report a suspicious person on Main Street and said a transient had gone into one of the rooms and was refusing to leave.

September 21

9:06 p.m. control.

7:33 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbanc­e on Main Street and said a guest had been asked to leave the lobby with her dog because pets in the lobby was against policy.

8:42 p.m. Someone called to report a traffic collision on Lupin Street and said they had been passed illegally and the driver of the passing vehicle had slammed on their brakes causing them to be hit from behind. The reporting person said there were no injuries but the driver of the other car appeared to be intoxicate­d and had peed on the tire.

September 22

3:51 p.m. Someone called to report a traffic collision on Old Mammoth Road near Sherwin Creek and said a silver SUV had rolled over onto its roof, the tires were still spinning and an occupant was inside.

5:32 p.m. Someone called to request assistance on Commerce Drive and said they would like an officer to keep the peace while they remove their belongings from a towed vehicle.

7:09 p.m. Someone called to report a possible hazard on Old Mammoth Road and said they had hit a deer and it was still in the roadway. The reporting person said they had already left the area.

9:35 p.m. Someone called to report a noise complaint on Chaparral Road and said a group of people were drinking and listening to loud music.

September 23

3:38 a.m. Someone called to request assistance on Meridian Boulevard and said a subject wearing a blue and red jacket was in need of assistance at the last bus stop.

10:31 a.m. Someone called to report an overdue hiker at Lake Mary and said their friend had left on Sept. 18 from the Lake Mary area to hike the 25 to 30 miles to the Mosquito Flats area and the friend had not arrived yet.

September 24

6:12 p.m. Someone called to report an animal issue on Laurel Mountain Road and said an off leash dog had chased their child. The reporting person said they had spoken with the owner in the past about the issue and the dog is very aggressive.

7:33 p.m. Someone called to report found property at The Village and said a purse with multiple cards and ID had been found and they were on their way to the Mammoth Lakes Police Department to drop it off.
