September 25

5:07 p.m. Someone called to report a hit and run on Sierra Boulevard and said the driver of a white Dodge Ram had hit a woman in the hip while pulling into the parking lot and did not stop to check on her. The driver of the Dodge also crashed into some garbage cans. The reporting person said the woman did not need medical attention.

5:45 p.m. Someone called to report a possible hazard on old Mammoth Road and Meridian Boulevard and said the light headed East bound would not turn green.

6:31 p.m. Someone called to report illegal camping on Joaquin Road and said a truck towing a rear axle camper along with two cars were parked on public land and camping between a house and a complex in the forested area.

September 26

8:36 a.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Thompsons Way to check on a pedestrian.

6:26 p.m. Someone called to report a possible hazard on Alexander Lane and said their neighbor had taped off and parked their vehicle in the middle of the road and appeared to be digging a trench.

7:59 p.m. Someone called to report an intoxicate­d person on Old Mammoth Road and said a subject was outside, banging on the front door and refusing to leave.

September 27

4:19 p.m. Someone called to report an abandoned vehicle on Sawmill Cutoff and said a creepy looking van with smashed windows appeared to have been abandoned by the skate park.

7:02 p.m. Someone called to report a noise complaint on Sierra Manor Road and said a couple of cars were ‘blasting’ music and refused to turn it down after being asked.

September 28

9:38 a.m. Someone called to request a welfare check on Sawmill Road and said their boyfriend had gone camping and the last time they spoke he made comments about selfharm. The reporting person said they would like an officer to go check on him.

9:56 a.m. Someone called to report an abandoned vehicle on Saint Anton Circle and said a gray utility trailer had been parked outside for at least eight days without moving.

12:35 p.m. Someone called to request medical aid on Old Mammoth Road and said a subject wearing all black and carrying a skateboard was complainin­g of severe chest pain.

6:59 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Old Mammoth Road and Meridian Boulevard to assist with traffic enforcemen­t due to the stop light not working properly.

7:42 p.m. Someone called to report an intoxicate­d person on Old Mammoth Road and said a man was knocking on the door and would not leave. The man was threatenin­g to destroy a vehicle.

September 29

11:17 a.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Old Mammoth Road to check on a report of an issue with the light.

1:37 p.m. Someone called to request medical aid on Majestic Pines Drive and said a male subject was having chest pains.

2:04 p.m. Someone called to report a suspicious person on Meridian Boulevard and said a man wearing a green jacket, blue hat and black and orange shoes walking near the schools was yelling and hitting himself.

10:26 p.m. Someone called to report an alarm on Tavern Road and said an alarm was triggered in a constructi­on site and video showed a person jump the fence. The reporting person would like officers to check the site and make sure there was no damage or stolen items.

September 30

9:15 a.m. Someone called to report a suspicious person on Old Mammoth Road and said a recently terminated employee was refusing to leave the area.

8:26 p.m. Someone called to request medical aid on Chateau Road and said a female subject had fainted but at the time of the call the subject was awake and alert.

8:52 p.m. Someone called to report a bear on Twin Lakes Loop Road and said a bear continues to break into a bear box.

October 1

1:44 a.m. Someone called to report a noise complaint on Old Mammoth Road and said the occupants of a known ‘party house’ were lighting off fireworks and revving their car engines and it had been going on all night.

10:14 a.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstan­ces on Manzanita Road and said a person was sleeping in a gray 4Runner for the past four days.

5:59 p.m. Someone called to report DUI on Main Street and said two very drunk guests had been fighting in the parking lot before getting into a gray vehicle and driving away.
