NOTICE OF PUBLIC INTERNET AUCTION ON NOVEMBER 8-14, 2023 OF TAX DEFAULTED PROPERTY FOR DELINQUENT TAXES

On August 15, 2023, I, Janet Dutcher, Mono County Tax Collector, was directed to conduct a public auction sale by the Board of Supervisor­s of Mono County, California. The tax defaulted properties listed on this notice are subject to the Tax Collector's power of sale and have been approved for sale by a resolution dated August 15, 2023 of the Mono County Board of Supervisor­s.

The sale will be conducted on the internet at https://www.publicsurp­lus.com, starting at 8:00 a.m. PST on November 8, 2023 and the auction will close at the time shown on each auction item on November 14, 2023, as a public auction to the highest bidder for not less than the minimum bid as shown on this notice. Parcels receiving no bids will be re-offered at https://www.publicsurp­lus.com, starting at 8:00 a.m. PST on February 1, 2024 and the auction will close at the time shown on each auction item on February 7, 2024. The minimum price will be set at an appropriat­e level in order to stimulate competitiv­e bidding.

Computer workstatio­ns will be available to persons who need them at 25 Bryant St. Bridgeport CA 93517 during business hours. The county and its employees are not liable for the failure of any electronic equipment that may prevent a person from participat­ing in the sale.

Due diligence research is incumbent on the bidder as all properties are sold as is. The winning bidder is legally obligated to purchase the item.

Only bids submitted via the Internet will be accepted. Pre-registrati­on is required. Register online and submit a refundable deposit of $1,000.00 to https://www.publicsurp­lus.com, no later than November 3, 2023. Bid deposits must be in the form of a wire transfer. The deposit will be applied to the successful bidder's purchase price. Full payment and deed informatio­n indicating how title should be vested is required within 48 hours after the end of the sale. Transfer taxes will be added to and collected with the purchase price. For the re-offer sale, register online and submit a refundable deposit of $1,000.00 to https://www.publicsurp­lus.com, no later than January 26, 2024.

The right of redemption will cease on, November 7, 2023 at the close of business and properties not redeemed will be offered for sale. If the parcel is not sold, the right of redemption will revive and continue up to the close of business on the last business day prior to the next scheduled sale. The right of redemption will revive for any property purchased by a credit transactio­n if payment in full is not received by the close of business on the date specified by the tax collector.

If the properties are sold, parties of interest as defined in California Revenue and Taxation Code Section 4675, have a right to file a claim with the county for any excess proceeds from the sale. Excess proceeds are the amount of the highest bid in excess of the liens and costs of the sale that are required to be paid from the sale proceeds. Notice will be given to parties of interest, pursuant to California Revenue and Taxation Code section 3692(e), if excess proceeds result from the sale.

Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), Lands and Facilities Engineerin­g Branch, 1010 Riverside Parkway, West Sacramento, California, 95605, until 2:00 p.m. at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read for the work as follows:

Provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidental­s, permits and taxes necessary for repairs on State Owned Housing (SOH) and hatchery building.

It is the responsibi­lity of the bidders to download any addendum as needed from Caleprocur­e website address stated above. Pursuant to Section 1770 of the Labor Code, the Department of Industrial Relations has ascertaine­d the general prevailing wage rates to be as listed in the “Prevailing Wage Data Base”, located at www.dir.ca.gov, or is available for inspection by interested parties at the address shown above.

Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 10115 et seq., State law requires that contracts have a participat­ion goal of 3% for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise­s (DVBE'S) for all contracts of $10,000 or more. Bids will only be accepted from those bidders who certify that they have achieved the goal as outlined in the instructio­ns with the bid forms.

To qualify for the DVBE Incentive Preference, the bidder must achieve a minimum DVBE participat­ion goal of 3%.

The project's bid award is subject to the “Small Business Procuremen­t and Contract Act” five (5) percent bid preference rules. A bidder's bond of at least 10% of the bid amount shall be submitted with the bid.

A 100% performanc­e bond and 100% payment bond are required for this project.
