December 25

6:54 a.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstan­ces on E Bear Lake Drive and said their camera had picked up a drunk man attempting to break into the home. The reporting person said they did not know if the man made it inside but he was seen attempting to break a window and kick down the back door.

11:17 a.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstan­ces on Main Street and said a woman wearing a Santa costume was seen aggressive­ly shoving a child into a red Toyota Camry.

3:02 p.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstan­ces on Manzanita Road and said a blue Ford Explorer was parked on private property on the side of the road. The reporting person said the owner of the vehicle had caused problems in the past and was told to inform Police if they returned.

7:41 p.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstan­ces on Snowcrest Avenue and said a group of kids were hanging out near a vacant house. The reporting person said the property might have been sold recently but believed that nobody should be near the home at that time.

9:53 p.m. Someone called to report an intoxicate­d person on Main Street and said a drunk man was refusing to leave the property.

December 26

1:08 a.m. Someone called to report a disturbanc­e on Main Street and said two men and a woman were refusing to leave the area after being asked.

11:53 a.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Rainbow Place to issue a parking citation.

12:08 p.m. Someone called to report harassment on Sierra Park Road and said an unknown woman was following them around outside of the hospital.

1:57 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Minaret Road to issue a parking citation.

4:35 p.m. Someone called to report a suspicious person on Old Mammoth Road and said a man was in the bathroom and was refusing to come out. The reporting person said the door was unlocked, the man appeared to be under the influence and staff was asking for assistance removing the man.

7:28 p.m. Someone called to report an assault on Meridian Boulevard and said he had been stuck in the head while in the Jacuzzi with his kids. The reporting person said the woman struck him after he told her the dogs could not go to the bathroom in a nearby area.

6:47 a.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstan­ces on Manzanita Road and said the driver of a blue Ford Explorer had returned to the area after being asked to leave by officers in the past.

12:23 p.m. Someone called to report a traffic collision on Minaret Road and said two vehicles were involved in an accident and assistance was needed with removing a vehicle with significan­t damage.

8:24 p.m. Someone called to report a suspicious person on Chateau Road and said they saw a man walk into their condo via a camera and the property should be vacant.

8:57 p.m. Someone called to request medical aid on Meridian Boulevard and said a subject had fallen in the bathroom. The subject was breathing but would not wake up.

11:38 p.m. Someone called to report a suspicious vehicle on Arrowhead Drive and said an unmarked box truck was in the parking lot, the back was open and contained large boxes.

December 28

12:58 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Canyon Boulevard to assist with traffic control.

5:03 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbanc­e on Mill Street and said their 18 year old had taken some drugs and was verbally aggressive and might be suicidal. The reporting person stated they were unable to control the child.

6:30 p.m. Someone called to report a traffic collision on Ranch Road and said two vehicles were involved in a non-injury accident and even through the vehicles were moved out of the way there was a lot of debris blocking traffic.

7:05 p.m. Someone called to report a suspicious person on Old Mammoth Road and said a subject who had caused issues in the past was at the business banging on the door prior to business hours. The employees refused the let the subject in until they were open and the subject became very upset and had to be asked to leave.

December 29

12:10 a.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Sherwin Creek Road to advise someone they were camping illegally.

6:02 a.m. Someone called to report a possible DUI on U.S 395 and said they witnessed a possibly drunk man get into a Ford F150 and drive away.

12:53 p.m. Someone called to report a parking problem on Main Street and said a delivery truck was blocking the business door. The reporting person said this was an ongoing issue.

5:12 p.m. Someone called to report a parking problem on Juniper Road and said two cars were parked across the street and they will be in the way of snow removal for the incoming storm. The reporting person said they were advised in the past to call when vehicles are left prior to a storm.

8:52 p.m. Someone called to report a fight on Old Mammoth Road and said two people had been in a fight. The reporting person said at the time of the call the subjects were separated and one was being held down on the couch.

December 30

9:11 a.m. Someone called to report a bear on Forest Trail and said a bear had broken into the garage and the vehicle inside. The reporting person said trash was everywhere.

5:45 p.m. Someone called to report a reckless driver on Rainbow Lane and said they saw a Lincoln Navigator occupied by about 20 people heading up Rainbow Lane.

5:55 p.m. Someone called to report a reckless driver on S.R. 203 and said the driver of a silver SUV was heading west in the eastbound lane.

5:59 p.m. Someone called to report a traffic collision on Davison

Road and said a vehicle had slid sideways on the road and they were directing traffic at the time of the call to prevent another vehicle from driving down the street.

9:09 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbanc­e on John Muir Road and said a male subject was sitting in their pickup shining the headlights into the units.

9:14 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbanc­e on Lupin Street and said a subject who had been drinking was acting aggressive. The reporting person said they believed the subject wanted to assault them.

December 31

12:47 a.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on S Frontage Road to check on a possible illegal camper.

12:28 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Rainbow

Lane to issue a parking citation.

4:30 p.m. Someone called to report an animal issue on Sherwin Creek Road and said they had found a dog with no tags.

10:18 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Mammoth Slopes Drive because someone had flagged them down for a fight between a man and woman.

11:50 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on S.R. 203 to check on a pedestrian.
