12:19 a.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Sierra Park Road to advise some people who were illegally camping in a parking lot.

10:52 a.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Rainbow Lane to issue a parking citation.

1:06 p.m. was playing loud music, yelling and dogs were barking. The reporting person said property management had already asked them to quiet down but they had not.

March 17

12:16 a.m. Someone called to report a suspicious person on Pyramid Peak Drive and said a man driving a dark SUV had come to their door twice and knocked on the door. The reporting person said the man appeared to be trying to come inside the residence.

12:22 p.m. Someone called to report a suspicious person on Hillside Drive and said a subject wearing a hat, bath towel and green underwear had left the lobby and tried to get into a guest services vehicle, acting as if like it was a taxi.the reporting person said the subject did not speak English.

12:38 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on South Frontage Road to check on an unoccupied vehicle with open doors.

2:12 a.m. Someone called to report an assault on Lakeview Boulevard and said they had been assaulted by a friend. The reporting person said the subject exited the vehicle and walked away after they hit them.

9:43 a.m. Someone called to report a disturbanc­e on Sierra Manor Road and said two people were in a physical altercatio­n near the bathrooms.

11:22 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on South Frontage Road to assist a pedestrian.
