Mega deal: Indians trade Lindor, Carrasco to Mets
Four- time All- Star shortstop Francisco Lindor was traded Thursday by the Indians along with pitcher Carlos Carrasco to the Mets.
The Indians in return received infielders Andres Gimenez and Amed Rosario, right-hander Josh Wolf and outfielder Isaiah Greene.
Lindor is a career .285 hitter and averaged 29 homers, 86 RBIs and 21 steals in his six major league seasons.

AFTER ‘APPALLING’ TWEET » Chattanooga has fired an offensive line coach following a social media post disparaging both the state of Georgia and Stacey Abrams.
In the tweet caught by screen grabs, Chris Malone posted on Tuesday night: “Congratulations to the state GA and Fat Albert @ staceyabrams because you have truly shown America the true works of cheating in an election, again!!! Enjoy the buffet Big Girl!! You earned it!!! Hope the money is good, still not governor!”
Chattanooga athletic director Mark Wharton in a statement did not refer to Malone by name, saying “that individual” is no longer a part of the program without specifying it was Malone.
