Carolyn Ann Mueller

Age 88

Carolyn Ann Mueller, 88, of Novato, CA, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2023. She was born to parents Paul Keen and Nancy Keen, on January 18, 1935 in Chicago, ILL. She was wife to John Frederick Mueller, of Centerline, MI. She graduated from Bloom Township High School in 1952. She went on to study at Bryant-Stratton College and then at the United Airlines Stewardess Training center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She graduated in 1956 and was stationed in New York, but had layovers in Chicago enabling her to see her family frequently. She retired from United Airlines after 4 years in 1960 when she got married. Carolyn and John got married on June 4, 1960 in Chicago Heights, IL, but lived in Sausalito, CA as newlyweds. Together they raised 3 children in Novato; John, Paul, and Karen. She was active in Clipped Wings (past chapter President), an organization for current and former United Airlines, Capital, Pan Am and Continental Flight Attendants, as well she loved tending to her garden and attending Mass. Carolyn is survived by her children and her grandchildren; Alyssa, Julia, and Gianna Mueller, Devon and Shannen Barrow, and Daisy Wen. She was preceded in death by her husband John (2016), and her brother Richard (2013). Carolyn will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in San Rafael. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for December 20, 2023 at 12:00 pm at St. Anthony's Church - 1000 Cambridge Street, Novato. A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Fr. Felix Lim will officiate the ceremony.
