For individuals who have been financially impacted by the recent COVID-19 outbreak, here are a few options that many creditors are providing:

Most credit-card companies are waiving late fees and interest for the next three months. Some are even allowing customers to defer payments. You can call the customer-service department to find out.

Auto loans and mortgages are similar; many are allowing deferment on payments for 90 days. Keep in mind they are not forgiving those payments, you will just have more time to pay.

Internet providers have opened up free hotspots throughout the country. Some providers are also deferring payments.

From what I have learned, all basic utilities will not be terminated during these times, meaning that all electric, water and sewer services will remain in place regardless if payment has been made.
