Police seek theft suspects, reward offered

Two suspects broke into vehicles in Waldorf, stole items

Police are seeking the identity of two suspects who broke into, and stole items from, multiple cars in Waldorf earlier in March.

On Friday, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office released photos captured by a home surveillan­ce system that depicts one of the two suspects and announced that a cash reward has been offered for informatio­n leading to an arrest.

Around 4:15 a.m. on March 7, deputies were called to the 12000 block of Sandstone Street after a resident reported that two people had broken into her car, a news release states. Police searched the nearby area and found that vehicles in the area of Flagstone Street, Pipestone Place and Goldstone Court had also been broken into.
