Police are actively seeking four masked suspects who robbed a White Plains gas station at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.

One gunman fired shots into the ceiling and a display case, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes before the group fled the DASH IN gas station in a white Chrysler Town and Country van just after 5 a.m., a Charles County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said. The vehicle was found shortly after, engulfed in flames about a mile away at the end of Padgett Road. Fire marshals reported that the suspects intentionally ignited combustibles to set the van on fire.
