Dementia care seminars hosted in Waldorf April 21

The Charleston Senior Community in Waldorf is hosting a pair of understanding dementia care seminars Thursday, April 21, at 45 St. Patrick’s Drive.

The free workshops will be presented by dementia care and education specialist Teepa Snow. The first session, 10 a.m. to noon, is entitled “Making visits valuable and positive.”

The second session, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., is entitled “Learning the difference between letting go and giving up.”
