Rick, Suit wed
Earlene and Bill Rick of Franklinton, N.C., formerly of Waldorf, announce the marriage of their daughter, Angela Shannon Rick, to Andrew Tyler Suit, son of Julie and Lee Hammonds of La Plata.
The couple were married Oct. 31, 2015 at Secrets St. James, Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Rev. Terrence Neil Gordon officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Bill Rick.
Bridesmaids were Meredith Wagner of Pomfret, Summer Stoudt of La Plata, Jessica Moul of Dunkirk, Ashley Swann of Harwood, Stephanie Arnold of Mechanicsville, Katie Hammonds of La Plata, Afton Fields of La Plata, and Cheryl Bryant of Clinton.
Groomsmen were Steve Nash of La Plata, Marcus Perkins of La Plata, Brian Weiser of Washington, D.C., Austin Rick of Chapel Hill, N.C., Pat Bryant of Clinton, Clinton Simpson of Dunkirk, Karl Guntow of La Plata, and Dave Stoudt of La Plata.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Lackey High School and a 2011 graduate of College of Southern Maryland. She is currently employed as business assistant by Neibauer Dental Care of Waldorf.
The groom is a graduate of La Plata High School and is president of Suitable Wiring Solutions.
The reception was held at Secrets St. James Resort in Jamaica with music and entertainment provided by the resort.
The couple currently resides in Mechanicsville.
