Police investigate suspicious activity

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the report of suspicious activity.

A 10-year-old boy reported that on April 7 between 5:45 p.m. to 6 p.m., he was walking home from a basketball game in the 2300 block of Smallwood Drive in Waldorf when an unknown male pulled up beside him, offered him candy and asked if he needed a ride. The boy declined and reported the incident to a relative. The man is described as a white male in his 40s with short, graying blond hair. He was wearing dark sunglasses, an orange sweatshirt, and white shoes and he was driving a yellow, two-door car. Anyone with information is asked to call Cpl. P. Anderson at 301-9322222.
