Lefty’s Barbecue hosts turkey frying classes

Lefty’s Barbecue Unlimited in Waldorf is hosting several “How To’s” on frying turkeys for the holidays.

The events will include a discussion on brining versus flavor injection, step by step instruction on preparing Lefty’s special marinade and a demonstration on injecting flavor into the turkey as well as the cooking process.

The class will include samples of a cooked bird and a couple of side dishes. A glass of wine or beer is included.

The class costs $5 and early registration is suggested due to limited seating. The classes are 6 to 7:30 p.m. Fridays, Sept. 23, Oct. 21 and Nov. 18. For registration, go to www. leftysbarbecue.com or call 301638-3813.
