Chapter, will host ‘A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People’ event, 2-3:30 p.m. at the Charles County Library Potomac Branch, 3225 Ruth B. Swann Drive Indian Head. The event will include a panel of community leaders, in- cluding Gilbert Bowling, chairman, Charles County Democratic Central Committee and owner at Bowling’s Newport Valley Farm; Bill Dotson, member, Charles County Republican Central Committee and president of Modern Door; and Kamesha Clark, candidate, U.S. House of Representa­tives, MD 4th Congressio­nal District. Representa­tives from the Charles County Democratic and Republican Central Committees are expected to be on hand to provide attendees an opportunit­y to become active voters in their community.
