The dark side of freedom

-

Being careful not to generalize all liberals, I think their socialist members are angrily projecting onto conservatives the hatred that they are manifesting themselves. Have you recently debated with a racist, bigoted, mean, arrogant, anti-democratic, Aryan, Putin-loving Wikileaker? I certainly have not, and I’m willing to bet the majority of Americans have not either.

Have you ever been angry and blamed a problem on everyone and everything other than yourself, just to find out to your chagrin that it really was your fault? You then either try to save face, make up for it, or you become a hateful scorner. Most people, especially children, have to be shown why their own actions led directly to the problem they are having, and of the consequences to be had if they don’t change something. When confident adults used to getting their way and comfortably having done so for some period of time, all of a sudden are completely and embarrassingly repudiated and removed from their preciously-held status quo, you get November and December 2016 in America. And, these adults are careless about the consequences.

When all of the fear, angst and anger from the leftist socialists and their unlearned fans came to a boiling point, we got more riots, race wars, flag burnings, soft media coup attempts and a movement to remove America’s electoral college.

On the other hand, there is next to zero amount of fear on the informed right about President-Elect Trump’s upcoming administration. By “insulting” his way to the top, as he is charged, Trump merely encapsulated and gave voice to the opinions of the unheard millions of suffering, frustrated and forgotten Americans who for a long time hated the sleazy, elitist, blindly-arrogant, totalitarian, spoiled egotists of mainstream news organizations and career politicians.

These arrogant leftist knowit-alls are like children sitting in the marketplace crying that they piped to us, but we didn’t dance, and that they have mourned toward us, but we have not wept. These people really suck at leadership, at morality, at fairness, at fixing inner cities, at reducing America’s debt, operating the Department of Veterans Affairs, the CIA, the Department of Justice, and especially bad at taking polls and surveys.

They got Trumped and they cannot stand it, nor accept this loss with humility. They got used to unchallenged power, and gave themselves over to it. Is not this human voice one reason that America was formed as a constitutional republic? Farid Jalil, Hughesville
