Perry, Folsom wed
Jack and Ruth Perry of Hughesville announce the marriage of their daughter, Emily Ruth Perry, to Daniel James Folsom II, son of Daniel and Cindy Folsom of Staunton, Va. The bride was given in marriage by Jack and Ruth Perry, parents of the bride.
The wedding took place March 12, 2016, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Solomons. Monsignor Michael Wilson officiated. Music for the ceremony was provided by Kay Oliver. The reception was held at The River’s Edge, NAS Patuxent River.
The matron of honor was Rebecca Smith of Dameron. Bridesmaids were Suzanne Perry of Leonardtown, Mackenzie Kelley of Charleston, S.C., Lauren Ferrari of Great Mills, Christi Wenk of Leonardtown, and Casey Sandorf of Valencia, Pa.
Flower girl was Paige Smith of Dameron and ring bearer was Owen Smith of Dameron.
Best man was Andrew Folsom of Mount Crawford, Va. Groomsmen were Evan Owen of Cornelius, N.C., Chase Dillion of Hampton, Va., Pat Bolliger of Alexandria, Va., Jon Sandorf of Valencia, Pa., and Brian Meier of Hardy, Va.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of La Plata High School and a 2012 graduate of York College of Pennsylvania. She is pursuing a master’s degree at Towson University and is employed with St. Mary’s County Public Schools.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a 2010 graduate of Old Dominion University, where he received a master’s degree in 2011. He is employed with Leidos.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and reside in California, Md.
