Cox-Baker defends United States against cyber threats while serving in U.S. Navy
Petty Officer 2nd Class Kwanza Cox-Baker of Waldorf is serving in the U.S. Navy as a member of Space and Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR). She is responsible for administrative duties assigned to SPAWAR in San Diego.
Established in 1985, SPAWAR works to improve cyber warfighting capability and enhances technology on surface ships, aircraft and submarines. The men and women who comprise SPAWAR provide the hardware and software needed to execute Navy missions around the world.
Cox-Baker is a 2012 graduate of Maurice J. McDonough High School.
