The Mar­lins had four triple win­ners and two dou­ble win­ners en route to edg­ing their op­po­nents from Mont­gomery County on Satur­day and fin­ish­ing the Prince-Mont dual meet sea­son at 3-2.

Clay­ton Jame­son won three events, break­ing records in two of them.

Jame­son won the 11- to 12-yearold boys 50-me­ter but­ter­fly in 33.99 se­conds. He claimed the 11-12 boys 50 back­stroke in the same time of 33.99, break­ing a team record that he set on June 24 by nearly a half of a se­cond.

Jame­son wrapped up his triple by win­ning the 12-and-Un­der boys 100 in­di­vid­ual med­ley in 1 minute 14.63 se­conds, set­ting a new Small­wood pool record that stood since 1996 by over a minute. Jame­son was also a part of the win­ning 9-18 boys 200 freestyle re­lay (2:04.34) that in­cluded Pierce Mus­sante, Justin Truitt and Lawrence Sapp.

Sapp was a triple win­ner, set­ting a new Small­wood pool record in the 15-18 50 fly (27.33) by five one-hun­dredths of a se­cond. The pre­vi­ous mark had stood since 1997. Sapp also claimed the 15-18 boys 100 free (57.23) and 15-18 boys 50 back (29.94).

Mal­lory Thomp­son tripled in the 11-12 girls 50 fly (38.67), 1112 girls 50 free (33.74) and 12-U girls 100 IM (1:29.66).

Kiera Salazar was a triple win­ner in the 8-U girls 25 free (21.13), 8-U girls 25 breast­stroke (30.43) and 8-U girls 25 back (30.53). Salazar edged Strath­more’s Jamie Spel­man by 13 one-hun­dredths of a se­cond to claim the 25 back event and was part of the win­ning 8-U mixed 100 free re­lay that in­cluded Michael Thomp­son, Joyce Kang and Zachary Saun­ders (1:31.64).

Mus­sante won the 9-10 boys 50 free (37.66) and edged team­mate Cyrus Salazar by seven one-hun­dredths of a se­cond to take the 9-10 boys 25 breast (25.75).

Truitt was a dou­ble win­ner as well in the 13-14 boys 50 free (27.74) and 13-14 boys 50 back (33.60).

Sin­gle win­ners for Small­wood were Ryann Tomp­kins (11-12 girls 50 breast 46.98), Osly Me­len­dez (15-18 boys 50 breast 37.72), Nathalie LaFon­tant (1518 girls 50 breast 38.43), Ali­cen McCon­nell (11-12 girls 50 back 42.43) and Cora Jame­son (13-14 girls 50 back 36.72).

The Waves had three triple win­ners, a dou­ble win­ner and won three re­lays in Satur­day’s loss to their op­po­nents from Prince Ge­orge’s County, fin­ish­ing dual meet sea­son at 0-5.

Sarah Dang was a triple win­ner in the 9-10 girls 50 free (42.14), 9-10 girls 25 breast (26.53) and 9-10 girls 25 back (25.34).

Noah Bur­riss tripled in the 13-14 boys 50 free (30.76), 13-14 boys 50 back (39.50) and 13-14 boys 100 IM (1:21.63).

Emily Decker won three events, the 15-18 girls 100 free (1:06.34), 15-18 girls 50 breast (39.64) and 15-18 girls 100 IM (1:17.91).

The lone dou­ble win­ner was Is­abella Smith in the 13-14 girls 50 fly (36.46) and 13-14 girls 50 free (33.50).

West­lake won both 18-U 200 med­ley re­lay events. Bur­riss, David Schuyler, Chris­tian Decker and Alexan­der Booth claimed the win in boys (2:24.78) by one-tenth of a se­cond over Be­lair, while Ker­ri­gan McMillen, Emily Decker, Tyra Agnew and Carla Ar­queron won for the girls (2:23.00).

Dang was a part of the win­ning 9-18 girls 200 free re­lay with Cassie Hu­ber, Marin Pat­ter­son and Maria Miller (2:34.95).

Sin­gle win­ners for West­lake were Agnew (15-18 girls 50 fly 34.71; one-tenth of a se­cond over McMillen), Robert Polk (1314 boys 50 breast 43.28), Adri­ana Imes (13-14 girls 50 breast 41.12), McMillen (15-18 girls 50 back 36.00) and Booth (15-18 boys 100 IM 1:20.25).

Di­vi­sion E In­dian Head 286, Tem­ple Hills 261

The Tor­pe­does had three triple win­ners, two dou­ble win­ners and won four re­lays en route to a vic­tory over their op­po­nents from Prince Ge­orge’s County, wrap­ping up their reg­u­lar sea­son slate at 2-3.

Luke Mach­nicki was a triple win­ner in the 11-12 boys 50 fly (43.50), 11-12 boys 50 free (34.65) and 11-12 boys 50 breast (48.88).

Alex Nguyen and Madi­son Rueda each won three events in the 8-U cat­e­gory. Nguyen claimed vic­to­ries in the 8-U boys 25 free (24.60), 8-U boys 25 breast (35.19) and 8-U boys 25 back (32.32). Rueda won the 8-U girls 25 free (30.26), 8-U girls 25 breast (41.38) and 8-U 25 back (36.87).

Dou­ble win­ners were Abi­gail Vanasse in the 11-12 girls 50 breast (49.15) and 12-U girls 100 IM (1:33.29) and Billy McCon­nell in the 11-12 boys 50 back (45.83) and 12-U boys 100 IM (1:42.00).

In­dian Head won both 200 med­ley re­lay events. Shaun But­ler, Gar­rett Batch­e­lor, Brett Cul­hane and Bryan Mentzer won the boys (2:11.64) and Re­becca Proc­tor, Sa­van­nah San­tos, Vanasse and Re­nae Ro­hde won the girls (2:42.81). Rueda, Ben­jamin Pickle, Ju­lianna Miller and Nguyen claimed the 8-U mixed 100 free re­lay (2:05.61) and Lo­gan Robert­son, Mach­nicki, Michael Ah­ern and But­ler won the 9-18 boys 200 free re­lay (2:36.58).
