Town Council will hold a work session at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall Council Chambers, 305 Queen Anne St., La Plata.

Wednesday, Aug. 16

Indian Head Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. at the Village Green Pavilion, 100 Walter Thomas Road, Indian Head. The Western Charles Democratic Club will meet 6:30 p.m. at Sartik’s Restaurant, Route 225 and Marshalls Corner Road, La Plata.
