CLASSROOM NOTES

State testing for sixth-graders will begin on Monday and Tuesday and continue Thursday and Friday. The whole school will participate in a general use fundraising jog-a-thon on Wednesday in coordination with the Franklin School Parents Club.

Also on Wednesday we will have a minimum day with dismissal time at 11:30 a.m. for kindergarten and 12:30 p.m. for first through eighth grades. The time will be used by staff for evaluation of student progress and curricular planning.

The students in the fourthgrade classes of Sue Ahlers and Rhonda Simard will take part in a music concert at 6 p.m. Wednesday under the direction of music teacher Jeff Poppinga.

The kindergarten awards assembly is at 8:45 a.m. Monday.

The Franklin Site Council meets at 4 p.m. Monday.
