People can share stories about teachers

People are invited to share a story about an English, art or music teacher who made a difference in their lives at the local Teacher Appreciation Week Event hosted by Yuba Sutter Arts.

Teachers are also invited to take part in the free celebration that includes live music and refreshments starting at 4 p.m. May 2 at 624 E St., Marysville.

The event is in observance of National Teacher Appreciation Week.

The event includes a “sneak preview” of the May art gallery show featuring artists from the Foothill Art Society.
