3. Planning for the Future/Preparing for Growth: This includes the future developmen­t El Margarita Master Plan, Bogue Stewart Master Plan, and proposed annexation of South Yuba City. Some leaders toy with the idea of a new community center that includes larger activities/events for all ages in the future.

4. Oroville Dam. Leaders said they continue to press the state and the Department of Water Resources to provide accurate informatio­n regarding the Oroville Dam, spillway, emergency spillway, inundation maps, water releases, etc.

5. The Fifth Street Bridge Replacemen­t Project. The project will mean four lanes of traffic and is set to break ground this year.

“It will quickly become a cen- terpiece of the community once completed in conjunctio­n with the Bridge Street Corridor project,” Harris said.

6. Celebratin­g the 100th anniversar­y of Sunsweet. The city’s venerable food processing plant will be the center of attention at the upcoming Plumas Street Summer Stroll.

7. Homelessne­ss. “Coordinate with the county on ways to connect our unhoused population with services,” Gale said in an email.

8. Yuba Sutter Lodging Associatio­n/Tourism Improvemen­t District. Leaders say they’re excited to see what the local partners have planned to increase tourism in the Yuba-Sutter region.

10. Infrastruc­ture. Ensuring proper expansion and maintenanc­e of city infrastruc­ture is paramount.
