Sutter Buttes majors cruise past Westside

Natalee Gardner struck out six, walked one and allowed just two hits over three innings to help lift the Sutter Buttes Thunder to a 13-1 victory over the Westside Angels on Tuesday night during District 2 Little League major softball Tournament of Champions play at Sutter Buttes Little League in Yuba City.

Payton McGinnis went 2 for 2 with a double and Timara Blackwell added a pair of singles to lead the way offensively for Sutter Buttes.

Gicelle Condrey singled and made three outs defensively at third base for Westside.
