YSYSL seeking referees

The Yuba Sutter Youth Soccer League is looking for referees to officiate games during the fall season.

Referees already certified through Cal North are welcome, and anyone interested in becoming certified through Cal North can take part in an upcoming referee course.

Course dates are set for June 14 from 6 p.m.-7 p.m., June 21 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., June 22 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., June 23 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., and June 24 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

All classes will be held at 970 Klamath Lane in Yuba City and the cost is $50.

The YSYSL is also looking for a certified ref to serve as the league’s referee coordinator. This is a paid position during the 10-week fall season, and those interested must be available to work each Saturday from Sept. 9 to Nov. 18.
