Duplicate Bridge Club winners announced

Yuba City Duplicate Bridge Club winners were announced for games played in April. Games played were: April 3 – first/second tie, Fred Kawashima/Kathy Peterson and Don Johnson/Alan Ludwig; third, Joe Blackford and Tina Amerio; and fourth/fifth/sixth tie, Jerry Fishell/Rick Shipley, Norma and Rich Hayes and Tom Frye/Ramon Lopez.

April 6 – first, Fred Till and Bruce Boley; second, Don Johnson and Doug Jacobs; third, Ramon Lopez and Alan Ludwig; fourth, Mary Mayfield and Rick Shipley; and fifth, Lynn Clark and Kathy Peterson.

April 10 – first, Steve Kaessner and Daniel O’Broclyn; second, Alan Ludwig and Ramon Lopez; third, Tom Frye and Carol Nelson; fourth, Johnnie Houser and Kathy Peterson; and fifth, Shirley Eckardt and Bruce Boley.

April 13 – first, Don Johnson and Ramon Lopez; second, Mary Mayfield and Tom Frye; third, John Weiler and Jerry Fishell; and fourth/fifth tie, Don and Lois Hay and Bruce Boley/Kathy Peterson.

April 17th – first, Mary Mayfield and Daniel O’Broclyn; second, Ramon Lopez and Alan Ludwig; and third/fourth tie, Patti Damron/Fred Kawashima and Tom Frye/Pat Pommerenck.

April 20 – first, Jack Woodard and Daniel O’Broclyn; second, Rick Shipley and Ruth Engler; third, Don Johnson and Alan Ludwig; fourth, Tom Frye and Dick Lohmann; and fifth, Fred Till and Mary Mayfield.

April 24 – first, Tom Frye and Dick Lohmann; second, Don Johnson and Rick Shipley; third, Rich and Norma Hayes; fourth, Fred Till and Ramon Lopez; fifth, Bruce Boley and Daniel O’Broclyn; sixth, Pat Pommerenck and Alan Ludwig; and seventh, Don and Lois Hay.

The Yuba City Duplicate Bridge Club plays games at 12:30 p.m every Monday and Thursday at the Yuba City Moose Hall except for the third Thursday which is played at the Meadows clubhouse in Yuba City.
