55TH ANNIVERSARY
Yuba City residents Charles “Chuck” and Miriam Page, the former Miriam Conroy, are celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary with family.
The couple were married June 23, 1962, in Lynwood and have been Yuba-Sutter residents for 32 years.
They formerly lived in Fullerton.
He is retired after working as deputy director and selection and training standards manager of the California Board of State and Community Corrections; program administrator of the Orange County Probation Department; and supervising probation officer for Los Angeles County.
She, also retired, worked as administrative secretary/office manager of the Yuba County Probation Department; secretary of the Orange County Probation Department; and is a graduate of University of Redlands.
Both are involved with St. Isidore Catholic Church, he with Knights of Columbus and she with its women’s Bible study. They also volunteer with the Regional Emergency Shelter Team, or REST, program.
They have six children, Geoffrey Page and Jennifer Hackney of Yuba City; Juliana WilliamsonPage of Santa Cruz; Marcus Page of Sheep Ranch; Stephanie Cardwell of Des Moines, Iowa; and the late Charles Page III.
Their family also includes nine grandchildren.
