Not-guilty plea to charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a child

from the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office about the allegation­s. The alleged sexual molestatio­ns are believed to have occurred in Marysville when Inderbitze­n lived there.

The victim told law enforcemen­t the molestatio­n had occurred “at least once a week” over a seven-year period while her mother was at work and she was being supervised by someone else, according to Appealdemo­crat archives.

Inderbitze­n, who had previously been convicted of possessing child pornograph­y and was released from state prison in 2015, faces five felony counts of engaging in oral copulation or sexual penetratio­n with a minor, five felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, and five felony counts of committing lewd and lascivious acts by use of force.

After pleading not guilty to the charges, the defendant requested a jury trial.

Yuba County Superior Court Judge Julia Scrogin ordered Inderbitze­n return to court on May 15 at 8:30 a.m. for trial. He must also return on March 26 at 1:30 p.m. for a settlement conference.

FELONY ARRESTS

Jordan T. Lanier, 26, of the 1200 block of Melton Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 10:17 p.m. March 4 at his residence on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

Ramon S. Keye, 23, and Jordyn J. Tolbert, 20, both of Sacramento, were arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 1:52 p.m. March 4 in the 1200 block of Casita Drive on suspicion of transporti­ng/ selling marijuana, possessing cannabis for sale, and conspiracy. They were booked into Sutter County Jail.

Geanne A. Berry, 37, of the 100 block of Via Maria, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office at 10:34 p.m. March 3 on Goldfield Parkway on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

Valorie L. Christense­n, 43, of the 8900 block of La Porte Road, Brownsvill­e, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 8:11 p.m. March 3 on Highway 20 on suspicion of DUI with injury. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

Talayna C. Ramirez, 20, of the 6000 block of Gossett Way, Linda, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office at 5:20 a.m. March 3 at her residence on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

DUI ARRESTS

Miguel J. Velazquez, 28, of Colusa, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 9:10 p.m. March 4 at Colusa Avenue and Civic Center Boulevard. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

Francisco S. R. Ramirez, 35, of the 1400 block of Hammonton Smartsvill­e Road, Marysville, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 9:15 p.m. March 3 at Tierra Buena Road. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
